Apricot Tree International Ethno Film Festival is a joined project of Filmadaran Film Culture Development and Russian-Armenian University of Armenia.
Apricot Tree International Ethno Film Festival is a platform for the exhibition of Ethno works from Documentary filmmakers around the world with unique voices and innovative visions. The 2nd Apricot Tree International Ethno Film Festival will take place October 1-5 in Yerevan, Ujan and Gyumri.

Also, a special prize is given by the Armenian Union of Filmmakers and FILMADARAN Film Culture Development Organization.

Filmadaran – Film Culture Development Organization

The organizers of the 1st Apricot Tree International Ethno Film Festival founded the Filmadaran Film Culture Development Non-Governmental Organization, which was registered on February 17, 2016. Garegin Zaqoyan was elected the head of Filmadaran. The organizations goal is to lively up the cinema atmosphere in Armenia by organizing various cultural events and producing ethnographic and anthropological documentary films. The Apricot Tree International Film Festival is one of Filmadaran’s main initiatives.
