Filmadaran–Film Culture Development Organization
The organizers of the 1st Apricot Tree International Ethno Film Festival founded the Filmadaran Film Culture Development Non-Governmental Organization, which was registered on February 17, 2016. Garegin Zaqoyan was elected the head of Filmadaran. The organization’s goal is to lively the cinema atmosphere in Armenia by organizing various cultural events and producing ethnographic and anthropological films. The Apricot Tree International Film Festival is one of Filmadaran’s main initiatives.
As a result of a meeting held on February 26, it was decided that the 2nd Apricot Tree International Ethno Film Festival will take place October 1-5 in Yerevan, Udjan, and Gyumri.
